New Initiative Project on “STI and Indigenous Knowledge for SDGs”

- Focusing on the transformation of “Science, Technology and Innovation” or “Indigenous Knowledge” to
- Win US$ 15,000 (500,000 THB) for the winner project
- The workshop on “Transformation of STI and Indigenous Knowledge to SDGs: 2019 Super Smart Community“ is a part of “ASEAN NEXT 2019” organized by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Thailand and Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (HAII)
- The submitted project will be selected by the committee appointed by MOST Thailand and HAII
- Maximum 5 (FIVE) projects will be selected
- An announcement of the selected project will be published online www.aseanwater.net and www.aseannext.net
- 1 (ONE) representative from each selected projects will be sponsored by MOST Thailand and HAII to present your project on 19th March 2019, Bangkok, Thailand for the final competition in the workshop “Transformation of STI and Indigenous Knowledge to SDGs: 2019 Super Smart Community
The project that receives the HIGHEST VOTE from this workshop participants
will be the WINNER and receive the award of US$ 15,000 (500,000 THB)
Who’s eligible to apply?
- Open for all proposals with a group of at least 3 (THREE) member countries including Japan, Thailand, and 1 (ONE) ASEAN country
- Proposal with content related to SDG2, SDG11, and SDG13

- 15 February 2019 – Deadline for submitting an initiative project to iaf@haii.or.th
- 28 February 2019 – Announcement for 5 (FIVE) selected projects on www.aseanwater.net and www.aseannext.net
- 19 March 2019 – Present the project (final round) in “Transformation of STI and Indigenous Knowledge to SDGs: 2019 Super Smart Community Workshop”
