HII incorporated with Department of Science Service, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyabur, and Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi developed survey boat and environmental data collections. The small and medium boat size can be adequately used for remote areas and applicable of operating at different channel sizes. The survey boat can carry and install bathymetry survey instruments. By using GPS (geo-locating the boat position) and applying camera (visualizing the surrounding scenes), the survey boat supports real-time navigation system in order to alleviate river-bank obstacles, automatically. This boat system can also be developed for the further large reservoir surveys.
