The Second Meeting of ASEAN Hydroinformatics Data Centre (AHC) was held on 15 December 2019 at the operation and monitoring water crisis situation room (War Room), 2nd floor, Hydro – Informatics Institute (HII), Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sutat Weesakul, Director, Hydro – Informatics Institute (HII), and Chairman of AHC.
The following AHC members from 9 ASEAN countries were participated in the meeting: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
All participants discussed and agreed on the 5 Thematic Areas namely: 1) Hydroinformatics Centre (HIC) Development, 2) Big Data and Data Analytics, 3) Observation Technology, 4) Modeling, and 5) Sustainable Water Management. The meeting discussed and agreed to proceed with the AHC Roadmap in 2020-2030. Moreover, the meeting agreed to appoint a “Focal Point” from each country for coordinating future activities and collaborations.
